3D Printer Filament

A-P’s of filaments

ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) thermoplastic is the recommended filament for all UP 3D printers. Printed parts using ABS are tough, durable, functional end-use parts. Removal or support material is easy and safe. ABS is the same plastic as Lego™.
No dangerous chemicals are required, simply break away the support of the same material. Print your model in parts and glue together using nail polish remover (acetone.)
ABS is high strength, impact resistant, heat resistant moisture resistant and a good electrical insulator.
We offer ABS in white, black, red, green, blue and yellow.

PLA (Polylactic acid) is derived from corn and is biodegradable. Due to the biodegradable nature of the filament, the models start to break down after a few months. Printed parts are brittle and can break while removing the support structure. PLA can be beneficial for some print jobs and is best suited to experienced users.

High strength nylon based filament that is extremely durable and resistant to chemicals. The perfect material for making production parts.

Elastic-like or flexible filament is a super elastic type filament. Great for RC car tyres, tank tracks, living hinges, belts and pulleys etc.

Copper infused filament lets you print with a luxurious metallic look.

Aluminium infused filament lets you print with a futuristic metallic look.

Enhanced with graphene with PLA has improves dimensional stability, mechanical robustness and is super strong.

Unique colour changing filaments change colour under UV lights/or at 33°C (depending on the filament you select). See our collection of 3 amazing, colour change filaments.
